First of all, I'm very happy to meet you and to have the opportunity 
of giving this course in this beautiful city of Izmir.

Well, let me introduce myself briefly.
I visited this country in 1998 for the first time in my life.
That was for a conference held at Bilkent University in Ankara.
I was really impressed the cultural differences.
People are very shy at the beggining, very different from 
American, for instance. But after a while they are really
warm and friendly.
It's strange to say three academic person propose me to come.
The first one is from Erciyes University at Kaiseri.
After thinking a couple of month I send my cv to them, but
maybe because of beaurocracy of the Government, The procedure
did never proceed.
The second one is from Anadolu University at Eskisehir.
So, I was there last year as a visiting researcher.
But unfortunately, without giving any courses due to my language.
Then the third. I came here this april, and started my carrire
with this University.

I used to teach Math in Japan....
